USSR Ministry of Communications issued a set of three stamps and a souvenir sheet showing all phases of the mission.

VEGA spacecraft in initial flight configuration with Venus lander in spherical container on the top of interplanetary station is shown on stamp and souvenir sheet issued in Laos, and on the stamp of Kampuchea.

De Luxe sheet of Guinea republic and souvenir sheet of Malagasy Republic show Venus exploration of VEGA project with Venus lander and stratospheric balloon separated and deployed.

International fleet of spacecraft including two VEGA spacecraft, ESA's Giotto, and Japanese Sakigake and Suisei is shown on stamps of Comores, de Luxe sheet of Djibouti, souvenir sheet of Bolivia, souvenir sheet of Guinea-Bissau.


VEGA spacecraft exploring the comet is shown on stamps of Central African Republic, Republic of Congo, Malagasy Republic, Mongolia and de Luxe sheet of Djibouti.


The images of the cometary nucleous obtained with TV camera of VEGA are shown on the stamp of Kampuchea and on souvenir sheet of Central African Republic.
