The plot description of the spacecraft constellation
The spacecraft (SC) are included as follows:
INTERBALL TAIL PROBE (IB_1)
,
INTERBALL AURORAL PROBE (IB_2)
or INTERBALL MAGION 5 (IB_MAG5),
POLAR
,
GEOTAIL
.
Various symbols mark the SC passing through the simulative geophysical regions.
The regions designations are shown on the left vertical table.
The UT (hours) is shown along the X-axis. Range of X-axis corresponds to the time-interval considered.
Date is shown near the left border of the X-axis.
For each spacecraft its own color and line (parallel to the X-axis) are used as follows:
IB_1 - the first line and red color,
IB_MAG5 - the second line and green color,
POLAR - the third line and pink color,
GEOTAIL - the fourth line and dark blue color,
The moments of the magnetic conjugations between the mentioned SC are shown as well. These moments are shown by the coloured points located above the region's symbols.
For selected time interval the polar diagram shows the
On the polar diagram the coordinates of each SC is shown by its own color and regions symbol.
The geomagnetic co-latitude in the range (10
°, 50°) is shown with 10° step.
The geomagnetic local time meridians correspond to 6, 12 and 18 hours.
For more information about SC coordinates on the considered time interval the ASCII files are available (by pushing the colored buttons nearby of the plot).
The red button call the ASCII file, which contains the moments and coordinates of the magnetic conjugations between the IB_1 and another 3 SC.
The pink button shows the conjugations of the POLAR with another 3 SC and so on.
The white button shows the simultaneously coordinate of the four SC with 10-min step.
