Abstract:
The Circular Restricted Three Body Problem (CRTBP) examines the motion of a massless object under the gravitational influence of two primary bodies, which move in circular orbits around their barycentre. Periodic orbits around equilibrium points, referred to as the libration points, are utilized for exploration of possible spacecraft trajectories in the preliminary stages of the mission design. Various spacecraft were launched to orbits near the libration points, including the Russian-German observatory Spektr-RG. Since CRTBP does not have a general analytical solution, the dynamics near libration points is not completely investigated. The nonlinearity and the high instability of the task complicate the numerical computation of the solutions, and there remain families of orbits that have not been studied yet.
The methods for periodic orbits computation and analysis will be proposed and the bifurcation analysis of the periodic orbits near the libration points L1 and L2 will be presented. The examples of the initial conditions maps for the studied orbits will be given. Moreover, the interactive catalogue of the libration point orbits will be demonstrated. This catalogue allows to quickly construct the maps of the initial conditions and get the information about the solutions in interactive mode.
