Ballistic design of space transport systems
for lunar missions using a near-Earth orbital station

Abstract:

The report was prepared based on the materials of the dissertation work for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences

The purpose of the dissertation is to solve the scientific problem of ensuring an efficient transport stream from the Earth to the Lunar Orbital Station or to the Lunar Base at the stage of their operation.

Achieving the goal of the dissertation required solving a number of scientific and technical problems, divided into three main clusters:
1. ballistic design of various options of transport systems based on a reusable spacecraft that is part of a near-Earth orbital station;
2. research of operations that ensure the functioning of the orbital station at all stages of the life cycle, including maneuvering, controlled de-orbiting, as well as the development of "fast" docking technology in the context of organizing flights to the Moon;
3. development of optimal ballistic schemes for spacecraft flights in the cislunar area.
