Mars Polar Lander: Launch -13 days

The lander was transported to Space Launch Complex 17B (SLC-17B) at 3:00 am EST Monday morning as scheduled and mated with the Delta stack. A full functional checkout (T-7) of the science payload was completed successfully. A full functional checkout of the lander's engineering subsystems, both "A" and "B" strings, is progressing nominally and is scheduled for completion Tuesday.
