Mars Climate Orbiter: Launch -1 Day

The flight software patch was loaded and verified as correct on the orbiter. Aliveness and functional testing of sides A and B were accomplished. The orbiter was configured for launch. Final remove before flight items (Mars Color Imager (MARCI) and Pressure Modulator Infrared Radiometer (PMIRR) covers) were removed. Launch is set for 1:45 pm EST Friday.

Mars Polar Lander: Launch -24 Days

Final planetary protection assays were taken. The lander was lifted to the spin table for final mass property determination.
