Mars Climate Orbiter: Launch -59 days

Mission System Testing of the Launch and Initialization phase was terminated just prior to completion due to a test artifact involving misalignment of the star camera stimulator. A workaround has been implemented and the test will be rerun today (a scheduled margin day).

Mars Polar Lander: Launch -83 Days

The Power Distribution and Drive Unit (PDDU) and Command and Data Handling (C&DH) boxes were reinstalled and system level electrical aliveness testing is in progress and will be completed tomorrow.
