Mars Climate Orbiter (At Kennedy Space Center): Launch -74 Days

A good hydrazine sample was taken and all plans and procedures are in place for fuel and oxidizer loading starting Monday morning.

Mars Polar Lander (In Denver, Colorado): Launch -98 days

Diode re-work of the Power Distribution and Drive Unit (PDDU) and Command and Data Handling (C&DH) boxes is progressing ahead of schedule. Card level re-work and test activities are complete and the PDDU and C&DH boxes have been reassembled. Box level testing begins Monday. Preparations continue for the shipment of the lander to Kennedy Space Center (KSC) on October 1.
