These photos were taken in Spacecraft Assembly And Encapsulation Facility (SAEF-2) at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The Mars Climate Orbiter spacecraft is being removed from its shipping container, and hoisted to a workstand for preparation for launch in December 1998.
