Abstract:

We present the results of the GRB 030329 optical afterglow observations on the 1.5-m Russian-Turkish telescope RTT150. Due to its longtitude, RTT150 turns to be one of the first middle class telescopes pointed to the optical afterglow. Observations started already after 6 hours after the burst. 

In the beginning of the observations the afterglow R magitude was measured to be 14^m. The unusial brightness of the afterglow allowed us to obtain precise measurements of the afterglow light curve and colors. During the first night about 200 images were taken in each of the BVRI bands. The time variability on small time scales 0.1-1 s was investigated as well. We
contunue to observe this extremely interesting object with RTT150.
